Oracle VirtualBox allows you to use multiple operating systems on one computer. Each operating system is installed as a separate virtual machine.

I've set up a few linux variants on my Windows 7 laptop. Ubuntu, Gentoo and Fedora have worked fine, but I'm having issues with Mandriva 2001.2.
I've downloaded the 32-bit ISO and attached it as the boot media. I've set up a 10 gig fixed sized disk (as with the other installations).
I've booted the installation media, selected my regional settings, and selected erase and use the full disk.
The installation program then lists the installation media, and I've selected none for the additional media to configure.
When I click install all the installation packages fail, one after another.
I've also tried including the CD-ROM but that gives other errors.
I'm using VBox 3.2.12.
Any ideas?

VirtualBox is free and enterprise-ready virtual machine platform that allows you to run other operating systems within Windows. Using VirtualBox you are able to install other operating systems into a virtual computer that can be launched and used directly within Windows. This allows you to run virtually any operating system at the same time while using Windows.
